My Story
Hi, I’m Luciana—a Christian woman, wife, mother of three energetic boys, and educator.
I started Faith Like a Mother because I know what it feels like to love God deeply while juggling the demands of family, work, and life. There were seasons when I felt spiritually dry, stretched too thin, and unsure of how to balance motherhood with my walk with God.
But here’s what I learned:
Motherhood is ministry. And faith is the heartbeat of every believer.
The name Faith Like a Mother was born from this truth: mothers embody a unique kind of faith. They believe, carry, nurture, and bring forth what God places within them. That same kind of faith is available to everyone—it’s the kind of faith that births miracles, sustains us in hard seasons, and grows stronger through grace.
What I Believe
- God meets us right in the middle of real life – dirty dishes and all.
- A mother’s faith sets the tone for her home, but strong faith transforms every life.
- Encouragement and Scripture can change the atmosphere of a day.
- Every believer deserves spiritual support, not more pressure.

I’m a mom of three boys—so my house is loud, funny, and always in motion. I’m learning daily to rely on God’s strength instead of trying to be superwoman.
Walking in excellence means giving myself grace for refinement. I can do all things through Christ, but I am not Christ.
